John Scott Boston (Scott) retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation on July 31, 2020 where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Kimberly-Clark Corporation is a $20 billion global company with more than 40,000 employees across more than 63 countries. With brands like Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex, Poise and Depend, K-C holds the No. 1 or No. 2 brand share in more than 80 countries.
He joined the company in 2011 as HR Vice President, Talent Management, Strategy and HR Shared Services. He was instrumental in the operationalizing of K-C’s People Strategy, improving the way they hire, develop and retain highly engaged, talented people around the world. He also led the implementation of world-class processes and tools to connect K-C’s people strategy to business goals.
Scott brings deep enterprise experience to coaching executives on how to achieve the best outcomes through people and to live a great life while doing so. He has a passion for optimizing and designing processes around people to create sustainable value based on more than 30 years of broad-based experience in the Human Resources. Related roles were held previously at McKesson as Senior Vice President and BellSouth Corporation as Vice President Human Resources and Chief Learning Officer with responsibility for all learning, talent acquisition, EEO and HR Shared Services.
Professional education includes a B.B.A. double major in Marketing and Management from Emory University. He also earned an Executive MBA in International Business from Emory University’s Goizeuta Business School where he graduated at the top of his class and received the honor of “Most Outstanding Academic Achievement.”
Scott resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He loves to cook and spends his free time with friends and family boating, playing tennis, and traveling.
