About Michael Feyen

Michael applies a proprietary model of organizational change capability to help clients build repeatable capability to execute on their strategic priorities. He has led transformation across functions and industries on over 50 projects with clients based in the U.S. and Europe.

In facilitation and coaching roles his style is to move quickly into the trouble spots, partnering with leaders to surface and address the difficult dynamics that hinder teams and organizations from achieving their goals. In doing so, he helps leaders set the conditions for deep and true commitment to a shared purpose, which both unlocks the potential of the organization, and provides a sense of meaning at the individual level.

Michael brings many lessons learned from his consulting work in Europe and the U.S. to life, and has a gift for making abstract concepts accessible and practical. He has given keynote addresses to a variety of audiences, including the CJ Foods Americas Top 120 Summit, and to Columbia University graduates at Riverside Church in Manhattan.

Some of his many professional accomplishments include:

  • Guiding a global organization through replanning during the outset of the Covid pandemic, resulting in a recapture of $6B annually in planned capital expenses
  • Leading a global-paper products company through a strategic pivot to focus on a new waterless sanitizer business
  • Leading an oil & gas client to find innovative, human-focused solutions which resulted in a 99% reduction in methane leaks and gas spills in the target oil field

Notable of Michael’s clients are MillerCoors, Molson Coors, Pabst Brewing Co. Renewal Energy Systems Americas, Anglo American, BHP, Patagonia, Intuitive Surgical, SCA-Tork, Ecolab, T-Mobile, Deutsche Bank, Chevron, and CJ Foods

Michael holds M.A.’s in Social-Organizational Psychology and Applied Linguistics, from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Hope College. He spends free time with his family competing in golf tournaments and exploring the mountains around his home in Steamboat Springs, CO.
