Devon helps leaders and organizations be successful and achieve results by taking a systems approach to understanding the behaviors and levers that will have the greatest impact and drive individual and organizational change. Additionally, Devon brings a background in neuroleadership, and uses his training and experience with neuroscience to help his coaching clients achieve their goals and organizations make brain-friendly human capital and HR decisions.
In addition to working with Impactful Advisors, Devon works as a consultant and executive coach with his own business, Inciting Leaders, a leadership and organization development firm that uses neuroscience and systems thinking to build capacity, align teams, and transform organizations. Previously, Devon worked with several leading global human capital consulting firms, including Linkage, Inc., and the Neuro Leadership Institute, where Devon focused on helping global F100 companies revolutionize performance management to enable feedback and drive performance with transformative conversations.
Devon holds a coaching certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute and is trained to deliver and interpret a variety of assessments, including Hogan, DiSC, EQ-i/360, and the Kirton Adaptor-Innovator tool. Devon has worked across most industries transforming organizations big and small, having focused particularly on oil & gas, healthcare, financial services, and agriculture. Devon lives in Boulder, CO and holds a PhD and Masters in Organization Communication from the University of Colorado, at Boulder, and a bachelors in Conflict Studies from Earlham College. When Devon is not working, he can be found with his family traveling the world, or in the mountains skiing, biking, climbing, and hiking.
